Any thoughts on the over/under this game. Looks like two hot pitchers going against struggling offenses. Pitchers ballpark. High run line @ 9.5. I'm leanin to the under. Any thoughts?

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
liking under here in Cubs game. Garland has been very sharp last five outings against tougher opponents than Cubs.

Clement has been fine at home, except for season debut and one game vs Mil. He's coming off loss and should bounce back. has been decent of late.

but more stuff to check out, bullpens and such. I'll be here to check out ump just before game start and post that.

trends from covers:

Garland's last four starts played under.
The under is 9-2 in the WSOX last 11 overall.
The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings.
Clement's last three starts played under.
The under is 5-2 in the CUBS' last seven overall.
CUBS are 3-8 in game one of a series after a loss.

Mostly cloudy, wind is blowing out to west 17 mph. Under is 0-3 since 1998 with wind blowing out to west 0-20 mph on mostly cloudy days. not much of a trackrecord. Under is 7-4 in such conditions on sunny/clear days since '98.

What do you all think??

I would lean under here also. The wind is blowing out but its blowing out to right and the majority of the power here is from the RH side; Sammy can always go deep the opposite way but most of the Chisox hitters are pull hitters. Clement is a groundballer and Garland is in good form. Clement pitched well against Pittsburgh when the wind was blowing straight out to center at around 25 MPH.

I may hold off on the total play. We're getting light rain here right now in downtown Chicago and I don't like unders w/wet fields.
