kind of an a$$-backward type of play:

2* ucla (-10)

its no secret the program is a mess, but i just dont see the lobos as a live enough dog to take advantage of it. ucla still holds a distinct class edge, and i think its gonna show up here. bruins were banged up this year, but when they put a healthy team on the field, they were pretty solid. a win here wont exact "salvage" their season, because its a lower tier bowl game, but there is still enough at stake to make me feel ucla is the right side, even with their internal problems

Couldn't agree more with your logic.The oddsmaker knows the Ucla situation will attract New Mexico action and yet the number is double digits.I'd bet the New Mexico backers would have jumped on far smaller number.GL
