When I started handicapping this game a week ago, I was leaning towards SMU with June Jones coming back to Hawaii and the fact Nevada's pass defense is AWFUL. I was very worried about SMU's rush defense which is also pathetic. I was thinking we would see a complete shootout which we might.
After learning Nevada will be without their top 2 running backs, I really like this play a TON now!:00hour
While SMU isn't world beaters, their worst losses were @ TCU by 25 which doesn't look bad now and @ Houston by 22 in a game that was a little closer than the final score would indicate.
SMU +12 for 15*
SMU 1st half +7 for 7.5*
SMU ML 2.5 for 9.25*
