Wife and I will going on a cruise with 2 nights in Havana, Cuba. I'm not a cigar smoker but I plan on picking up some cigars as gifts for friends. What brand or brands should I bring back ? Thanks !

I used to own two cigar stores. I know cigars well. A lot of Cuban cigars you buy in Latin American tourist areas are counterfeit if they are major brand names. Not sure about Cuba. I do know the best cigar I have smoked in my life is a Cuban Sancho Panza. Without a doubt the richest most flavorful cigar I have ever smoked. And over the years I have asked friends that travel abroad to pick me one up and always the same, outstanding.

You are going to be shocked at how much COHIBAS cost but as long as the cigars have those yellow COHIBAS ring on them you can't go wrong on whatever you bring back just be ready for some sticker shock. I paid 220 for a box of torpedos the last time I was there but that was when it was illegal for Americans to be there.
My advice would be to make friends with a local and they will steer you to a reliable spot to buy ....but COHIBAS are expensive period.
