Being a high profile TV game, this game deserves its own thread.

FWIW, G Bobbitt just quit the Cincy team. He's the guy who had 29 pts against Oregon.

He is a reserve but you need more than just starters to beat this Louisville team. They go 10 deep and just wear teams down in the 2nd half.

The "official" word

The "official" word

CINCINNATI -- Guard Tony Bobbitt has quit the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team.

The school announced the move Wednesday, but had no immediate comment on why Bobbitt left the team. He remained enrolled in school.

The 6-foot-4 junior, who missed practice Monday and Tuesday, was one of the Bearcats' top substitutes. He averaged 7.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 17 games this season and scored 29 points in a victory over Oregon in December.

Have to go with the under 141 here. I was expecting a 137 or so. The Ville is coming off a real high scoring game but that was non-conf game and I see the defensive intensity increased here.

Maybe it is a good thing that Tony Bobbit quit. Could have been one of those cancers to the team. I really don't know, but maybe that could be the case. Hell he missed Monday and Tuesday's practice. It pr

obably isn't a huge suprise to anyone on the team.

Valuist,
Have you ever had an Edwardo's Pizza?
The best I've ever had. I was staying at the Hilton in Skokie 7 years ago. I still remember that PIE!:D

ain't been around much lately to post, but just thought i'd be the one to go ahead and say it. i'd be stunned if cincy was able to compete tonight. no where near the weapons that louisville has, and on card's homecourt, if huggins wins this it will be the finest coaching job of his career. i'm just an old poker player, and i know the card with most value is not necessarily an ace - right guys?

Head-

Have had Eduardo's, Lou Maltani's, Pizzeria Uno, Giordanos, Geno's East. We invented deep dish pizza here. After you've had good deep dish, the thin crust stuff is like cardboard with tomato sauce.

Valuist,
You are absolutely correct. Cardboard with tomato sauce. Eduardo's is the only one i can recall, but it needs to be franchised below the Mason Dixon.

Loop nobody said anything about an ACE in this thread. I was strictly making a comment. Liked Cincy from the start, and quite honestly I posted them, but ended up not playing Cincy at the last minute. Ace, Duece, whatever.
