Had a great first 4 days to the season going 11-3 and picking up 21.3 Units. Looking to keep my momentum rolling into week #2 (I only bet CBB after conference play begins).
Texas - 5' for 4 Units - WIN
I love this spot for the longhorns! They finally have some confidence and momentum after their 2 game disaster (Duke & Tenn). The win over Memphis last week was huge, but the UT blowout victory over red hot Colorado was a monster way to kick-off conference play.
Iowa State's success relys heavily on their backcourt of Stinson and Blalock. Without big time performances from BOTH of them, the cyclones are just a middle of the road Big 12 team. On Saturday, Iowa State almost blew a 13 point late 2nd half lead to KSU and have had less than impressive victories (squeakers) against Tenn St and Northwestern State.
The Longhorn D has never looked better. Over their last five they have held their opponenets to 60 ppg and are only allowing 38% shooting from the field. Stinson and Blalock will be held in check and Texas will win their first conference road game by douible digits.
