What a weird card today!!!
I grabbed Wisconsin at +2 last night(bought the point). The line has moved to -1. I am expecting another point or 2 as the public is all over the badgers. Will probably try to middle the game when I feel the number has reached its peak or possibly a Minny Moneyline. I am a true believer that teams are favored for a reason, so someone in Vegas must know something to install the gophers as a 1' point fav.
I am also intrigued by the UNC/VT line. Power rating screams tarheels, but VT is playing great ball and was only a miracle away from knocking off Duke in Cameron, a game which the hokies dominated. Many think VT should be the favorite and is the better team. To be honest I have no freaking idea, but my early lean is on the Tarheels. Probably a no play.
As far as posted plays are concerned:
W. Michigan +3.5 for 2 Units - LOSS
I think very highly of the Akron Zips. They are a deep team with better than usual MAC talent, but Zips head coach Keith Dambrot is 0-6 against the broncos in his career. I don't see that streak ending tonight in Kalamazoo. WMU is playing their 2nd consecutive home game after a brutal travel schedule in December and brings new meaning to "There's no place like home." The Read Fieldhouse should be jumping tonight and WMU will stay within 3' and may even get the W.
