St. Joe's -1' for 4 Units - LOSS

St. Joe's knows they must pick up conference road wins in order to position themselves where they have become accustom, atop the A-10. The Hawks are not as talented as in previous years, so this game against UMASS could come down to coaching and Martelli has the obvious advantage.

Ball State +9 for 4 Units - LOSS

Ball State has been battle tested early in conference play with close loses to Ohio and Akron (easily the 2 best teams in the MAC). Kent St. doesn't scare the Cardinals nor does playing in a 1/2 filled Memorial Athletic Center. Expect a low scoring affair between these two with Ball State keeping it close.

Bradley -6 for 2 Units - LOSS

2 evenly matched teams, but Bradley is a beast at home and Wichita is merely a mouse on the road. Wichita has been successful when their opponent makes mistakes and I don't see Bradley playing sloppy at home.

Air Force -5 for 3 Units - LOSS

The beauty of service academies is that don't get lazy. This would be a perfect let down spot for any other 14-1 team, but the Falcons will continue their strong and steady play and wear out the cowboys. The only thing keeping this from a 5 unit play is the history of close games between these 2 schools, but AF hasn't been this strong before.

kent state has one of the top three homecourts in the conference so its safe to say ball state will have their hands full especially playing without their leading scorer. im still not convinced these vegas numbers accurately reflect his loss and thats why i cant figure out why this line is under double digits. if line was 11 or 12, id give ksu a look. but 8.5 just looks stupid.

Auburn -2' for 3 Units - LOSS
Auburn owns 'Bama ATS going 6-1 in the last 7. The tide haven't had any luck covering this year and the trend should continue tonight. Both teams looking for their first SEC win and the home team will take care of business behind a rabid sell out crowd.

Glad you said it....I thought I was just being partial (KSU student) but in my years here I have seen the MACC provide a dinstinct advantage even if it seats only 6K and only hits that # when Akron comes to town!

the home court edge has been mitigated a little bit in the last few years but its still awfully good. but back when they had mitchell and huffman, teams stood absolutely no chance of coming into kent and getting a win. those teams would hit you with 12-0 or 16-2 runs in the span of 4:00 and you'd be done. the kent state/akron games this year are going to be incredible. as much as i want to see akron/ou, i think the best games will be the kent/akron games.

I am not expecting Ball State to come in and destroy, but I do believe they will keep it in within 9. Ball State has no reason to be intimidated. Students aren't back yet either.
