I am impressed with Clemson. Now if they could only start scoring a TD or two and stop settling for FG's. I figured if Clemson could get through the 1st Q. that they could hang with FSU being a prime sandwich game with ND and the double revenge game with NC St. on deck.

I missed the backstory on this game; Tommy Bowen is Bobby Bowen's son and his position was shaky. From ESPN:
"Bobby Bowden searched out his son among Clemson fans
calling "Tommy!, Tommy!" and told him what Tommy's first victory in the Bowden Bowl -- and the Tigers first win ever over a top three team -- would mean down the road.
"I told him his job ought to be good for another five days," Bowden said. "
