Just got back from Vegas....it was a last minute trip and spent 5 days having a blast.won big on baseball,WNBA,and FIBA and the Ravens over my Giants in preseason.Really won big....a little blackjack but mostly sports books....put almost all the winnings on 2 games...love Clemson over North Texas. Nebraska -37 over WKU

Clemson -23 over North Texas ****** strong play
NT has won 3 games in the past 2 yrs.They are going into the Death Valley with a new QB who just won the job.Coaches son has been moved to WR after 2 yrs at QB.NT has a decent OL returning and one player on offense.Dunbar is a sold RB.WR,TE,and kickers are all avg in the Sun Belt but you can't compare them to the ACC talent.NT defense is the worst.DL has zero depth,cannot rush the passer.DB's and LB's will be in trouble vs the Tigers.
Tigers lost CJ which is a big loss but their QB Parker can throw and run.But Tigers 2 RB's Ellington and Harper will run all over NT.Clemson OL is rated 2nd best in ACC.They will dominate the NT def line.No way NT can put any pressure on Parker.Anybody here could avg 2.5 yds in this game.NT will have a big problem stopping the WR's.All these matchups are mismatchs.
But its the Clemson defense that will totally shut down NT.Clemson will have 7 or 8 guys in the box to stop Dunbar...Clemson corners will smother the NT WR's and shut them down.Clemson is the No 1 rated defense in the conf.They have so much speed everywhere.NT will only score in the 4th qtr during "mop up time".
Clemson wins this 44-7 or 55-10.....just hope the rain doesn't slow down the Tigers...

Army -9.5 over E.Mich ****
Army had lost 12 straight season openers until last yrs win at E. Mich.27-14. They open up again in YPsilanti and Army is even better.Army has now had one year of running their option attack.But Army got a big scare 3 weeks ago.Steelman their soph Qb was almost expelled and kicked out of the Academy.He was tried for breaking the honor code.But he was saved.....community hours and other punishments..but not the death sentence...he gained 600 yds rushing and 600 yds passing.He will be a stud this year..will be back later in the week with more info on this game and the cornhuskers.

Clemson -23 over North Texas
This line has jumped up to -27 this past week.Already said enough.Clemsons OL with Parker at QB,and two solid rb's that could break open for long gains.NT DL is weak ans has no depth.LB's and def backfield will have trouble stopping the tigers.New QB,new off. coach,unproven WR's,etc, going into Death Valley with 80,000 fans.Clemson defense is tough everywhere.So athletic,big, quick,etc,etc.. Another note..NT likes to schedule a few big name teams to make some money.They have done this for yrs. And have been spanked big time...Last yr it was Bama..53-7,2 yrs ago Kansas St and LSU 45-6 and 41-3.OU and Arkansas the yr before that..79-10 and 66-7,Texas the yr before that 56-7.I can keep going...this is a pattern....get your ass killed on the rd,don't get anyone hurt and collect about $200,000-300....The scores above will be what happens today.. I like 55-7..but I really don't care as long as its over 23 pts.

This is a mid-life crisis play..flew to vegas with this game on my mind...I missed my mid-life crisis..some buy a car,go to Europe,buy clothes,etc.. I fly to vegas and make a bet...pretty sad state of affairs.But if Clemson wins and covers I'll be dancing in the streets...

Nebraska -37 over WKU ****** strong play
Last yr North Texas scored 68 pts vs WKU and the yr before 51.They were 0-12,new coach,etc.They can't pass the ball.Neb defense is loaded.WKU won't score. So the question is can Neb score over 38 pts.With 9 starters back on offense and a defense that last yr held Texas and OU to 12 and 3 pts. this game has blow out all over it.

Army -9 at EMU ****
EMU has won 1 game in last 18 games.They had the worst rush def in the country.Lyr Army beat them last yr 27-14 and gained over 300 yds rushing.And army had just put in their new option attack.Steelman, Armys soph qb started every game and I think he is ready to be an impact player.The key to the option was Mealy last yr but the addition of Hassin at FB makes Mealy the slotback. Hassan transferred from the Air Force.Brooks at WR could be their best player.OL returns 4 starters. The DL with McNary will be tough.He is a big time pass rusher.Gann in the middle can't be moved.The talk about Army all over is that this team is loaded.I'm buying all the hype.I have 3 friends that work at the Point.All 3 think Ellison is a solid coach. They haven't been an away fav to much in the past 10 yrs.They did beat North Texas on the rd lyr.And in two weeks North Texas comes to West point...wow..Who am I going for?That could depend on what happens today in the Valley..that is the death valley.
