Reds acquired OF-3B Russell Branyan from the Indians for 1B-OF Ben Broussard.


With today's trade of Russell Branyan, Chris Magruder now figures to be Cleveland's regular left fielder.


Could possibly be a pit-stop for Branyan in Cinn, probably will be traded again in package deal.

Glad to see Branyan go. You talk about tremendous power, he's definately got it, but when you strike out seemingly every other at bat, just doesn't help keep those rallies going.

Magruder deserves the shot....he's a gamer.
