havent had a free second all day, so my advance apology if somebody already posted this.

cleveland state ruled percell coles and walt waters academically ineligible for the rest of the season.

the loss of percell coles is enormous. hes a great 3pt shooter and has had games of 6,7,8,9 3pters made. hes a guy capable of going off.

the loss of waters doesnt matter. not a huge part of the rotation but csu was already thin on the bench (lost a great shot blocker and inside presence in pape badiane early in the season)

right now, csu is in some trouble. jermaine robinson and omari westley are two standout players but w/o coles, theyre gonna really struggle to score at times.

dont have a lean for the csu game today. obviously a tough game for them in illinois. for some reason they have played well on their chicago trip in recent years. maybe they pull a rabbit out of their ass and cover, but theyre really thin on the bench right now.

just a heads up for capping cleveland state games the rest of the season.

this team had some talent, but theyve lost 2 of their top 4 guys now in badiane and coles.

wow. illinois-chicago coach really called the dogs off and it cost uic backers. flames coulda won that game by 30 or 40. he pulled starters midway through the 1h and they didnt return the rest of the 1h. then they toyed with csu in the 2h and vikings shot enough 3s to get it close. this is truly a misleading final. csu was never even remotely close to being "in the game". uic led by 30 mid 1st half

but coles is a huge loss. 44 of 99 on the yr from 3pt land and he can get hot and fill it up.

csu in trouble the rest of this year unless badiane comes back healthy (that would help a ton)
