Last week went 6-3 (6-1 if it werent for the lousy Browns and Bills letdowns)
Going to make a few early picks this week as I got tickets to the Pats vs. Bills game.....My prediction will be PAIN!
BEST BETS:
JAGS -6.5: Little nervous with Culpepper taking over the reigns, but I just cant see the JAGS giving two teams without wins their first wins. I think the Lions may keep it close, but I think the JAGS break away in the 2nd half and win by a TD :scared
Ravens PK: Are you kidding me, this one is a no brainer. I thought for the sure the Ravens would be favored by at least 6 points with their 4th quarter comeback against the Brownies last week. :scared
MED PLAYS:
KC +15.5: I know the Chargers will win this game, but they are just not that good to win by more than two touchdowns. Look at what Buffalo did to them, and what has happened to Buffalo playing "weaker teams".
SMALL PLAYS:
Seattle +8: this one I am a little nervous about, I just feel like the Fins are going to be feeling a bit overconfident coming into this game. Everything goes against taking the Hawks here, including a West to East game, Hasselback out, and the Dolphins on a roll on both off and def. That is exactly why I am taking the Hawks.
Rams +9: I agree with this being a sandwich week for the Jets, I think the Rams surprise them and keep it close with Favre throwing at least 2 INTs
Green Bay +2.5: coming off a close game in TENN almost giving them their first loss, I think they will be hungry to eat up the Queens (who I think are still overrated)
Bills ML +150: Small play here as the Bills have let me down the past few weeks. This is really a must win for them though if they want to make Donte Whitner's statement of going to Playoffs come true, 0-3 in the division would crush them, especially if the Fins and Jets pull off wins this week which they very well could. This is a must win in a place where they have NEVER WON!!!
