Probably not big news to most of you, but my Clemson Tigers are announcing sometime this week that both Offensive Co-ordinator Mike O'Cain and Defensive Co-ordinator John Lovett will not be retained.
It is also unoffically being announced down here that East Carolina will name Skip Holtz Head Coach sometime later this week as well.
Steve Spurrier gave his first jab as coach of South Carolina when he was asked about the suspensions dealt down yesterday involving the brawl between the Tigers and Gamecocks. The Carolina players that were suspended were suspended for the 2005 Season opener against Central Florida. The Clemson players were suspended for no specific game.
When asked what he thought of that, Spurrier said that "Clemson must be playing a hard team the first game of the season." HE'S RIGHT------We play Texas A&M in Death Valley!!
