Taggart is a heck of a coach, don't know much about the others.

He did wonders for a program with facilities like he had access to, but he did well at WKU too and USF's facilities are a tad better, but if he gets that S Carolina job, he's going to get some good kids in the southeast that other coaches are going to shake their heads about because he wants to develop and allow players to play right away rather than sit as redshirts or under studies. His backfield and QB are on a roll and they should do well in the bowl game that they go to.

I was hoping Kentucky could have gotten him when they had the chance. S Carolina will be in good hands if they get him.

Babers to Syracuse. Good hire!!

Bryan Kelly to leave ND? I highly doubt that!! He's had the most success of any ND coach since Ara Parseghian (spelling).

Muschamp to S Carolina? He failed big time at Fla, so what makes him a hot commodity? Please tell me?

Auburn didn't want him back!!

Being a good coordinator doesn't necessarily make one a good head coach.

I agree 100% Cruncher. His Asst coaches disliked him and the players @ Fla at least surely didn't perform for him. Driskell if you ask him, said he curtailed his chance to be a better QB and he's played better since he transfered and McElwain just all of a sudden turned this team around with new players or a new philosophy? I'll say he did it by respecting his players and putting in a system of "team", over shouting and belittle'ing them.
