A note on yesterday?s games: The spark coming from the emergence of QB Vince Young is the ONLY reason I expected a Mack Brown coached team to do what it should have done in that spot - Roll.

The two games that stood out for me this week were LSU and Boise State, and if I would of had more time during the week to figure things out, I?m pretty sure they would have gone together in a Friday/Saturday parlay. Notwithstanding a Humanitarian Bowl bid, an incredible group of seniors going out in a big game on the blue carpet earns my money.
West Virginia(-21') over Temple (1*)
Last week?s take against Syracuse: ?West Virginia has gone as far as any team in the country in starting the season raw and talented and developing into something special. They are on a late season roll again, and Rich Rodriquez continues to shine as a big game coach.? More mismatch than big game here, but again a spot for an explosive and relentless performance.
