If you get a chance Baseball America has some nice previews on the super regionals.

The info comes from coaches who have played the respective teams..good luck.

Pretty sub-par outing in the Supers so far. 2-4 for -2.2 units with Indy and UCLA being the only bright spots on game plays. For Sunday:

UVa -1.5 +115 (vs. MS St) for 2 units
Vandy -1.5 +115 (vs. Ville) for 2 units
OSU -1.5 -125 (vs. K-State) for 1 unit
USC +160 (@ UNC) for 1 unit
Rice +160 (@ NC St) for 2 units

The first three are technically the 'Away' team today and the last two the 'Home', however for home field advantage consideration, still consider them how I list them.

Wet spring for baseball, our high school went 21-9 and my son was the starting catcher as a junior and now we just started our summer season.

We're actually involved with American Legion ball, surprisingly good competition. Last year a pitcher was going to Ohio St and another kid was D-2 player of the year.

Thought of you this past week. Saw a great supersectional between Mt Carmel and Locport 2-1. Then a great state final MC beat Libertyville 2-1. Kid I coached growing up was the starting LF for MC..very cool.

How are things out west?

OSU/K-State Over 8.5 -125 for 1 unit

good to hear. Things are good so far out here. Move went well and we have already found a house that we should be closing on at the beginning of July.

any thoughts on the Carolina game?

Sorry, wasn?t online checking this yesterday. I had a small interest in USC with my series bet so I just left it at that. Also I just have not got a good read on UNC this year despite their high ranking.

Poor showing in the Supers going 4-9 for -7.85 on game plays. Small positive on the Series plays going 1-2 for +1.15 with Indiana being the lone winner there. Some close games that could have swung things differently. Rice was a dagger as they got swept but blew leads late in both games, that would have been a 7.7 unit swing for me if they go the other way. Oh well, on to the CWS.

Updated Record: 104-91 for +31.26 units
