YTD Record: 44-36 for +13.37 units

1-1 last time out as Irvine blew a lead late and gave it away in extras, and Ville won easily.

Couple quick ones today, both are strong teams on the road and despite going against other strong clubs, very cheap prices for great starting pitching.

FSU -130 (@ UVa) for 1.5 units
UCLA -105 (@ Oregon) for 1.5 units

adding:

GaTech -145 (vs. NC St) for 2 units - Wolfpacks best pitcher has been bumped back to Saturday due to control issues, solid advantages on the mound and at the plate for the Yellow Jackets.

For Tuesday:

Ville +110 (vs. Vandy) for 2 units - tough opponent to try to rebound off of a disappointing series loss to St. John's against but I think Ville can do it. They are starting Kyle McGrath who has primarily been used as a reliever but has great strikeout potential (39 K's in 31 IP, and a .183 OBA). Vandy's bats strikeout 6.7 times per game, so think that will play well for McGrath. Vandy counters on the mound with frosh Walker Buehler who has been good this year (2.76 ERA) but better in relief than he has showed in his handful of starts, against much weaker bats than what Ville has.

Wilmington +4.5 -115 (@ UNC) for 2 units - was going to make a small stab on them as a dog but will take the gracious run line at a small price. UNC did blank Wilmington earlier this year 10-0 and the same Tar Heel picther, Chris Munnely, will be starting tonight. However, Wilmington is a capable club that could be as high as a 2 seed in a regional and averages 7 runs per game this year, so I don't see a repeat performance. Additionally Wilmington is starting their normal #3/Sunday pitcher, Christian MacDonald. He had a rough outing 2 weeks ago, but has pitched twice in relief not giving up any runs in 2 innings and seems to be back on track.

1-1 on the day as Wilmington wins outright but I was completely wrong on the pitching in the other as Vandy wins 10-2.
