thought my eyes were deceiving me but read it twice, Depaul has back to back Big East victories. Stop the presses and extend Ollie's contract

The AD is dumb enough to actually do this. No wonder I've had an upset stomach for the better part of the last week.

If DePaul makes the CBI or CIT tourney with a .500 record, she will champion it as DePaul's return to the post season. Not difficult to make the post season when there are almost 150 spots between the four tournaments.

DePaul putting their fate in the hands of Tommy Hamilton= not good.

Billy Garrett will be part of the future for sure.

Hamilton has actually surprised me so far, but I do think he is kind of at his ceiling already.

Garrett is definitely good and will only continue to get better. The question is what happens if his dad isn't coaching once there is a staff change. Elder Garrett was a holdover from Wainwright's staff and was primarily done for the recruitment of his son. I think Purnell has one more year after this one, but if he is let go, would be extremely odd for the elder Garrett to be a staff holdover through 2 different changes.

Losing the younger Garrett could be a casualty, but most DePaul fans are fine with that. They are disappointed the elder has struck out recruiting basically everyone else he has targeted outside of his son.
