The Wright st line really stuck out to me as well. It's a real head scratcher given both the performances of the two teams this season as well as the Raiders have owned the Pengs for a few years now. Wright has changed very little since Brownell departed IMO and still have tha ability to make foes play their game by controlling tempo. Pengs tend to be wildly inconsistent so even though this has got to become a large public play it would be Raiders or nothing for me.
Quick thoughts on the other games in the Horizon.
I think the Vikes are a live home pooch tonight. The Ramblers may have hit the wall with the bad performance vs Chic St.
Although Green Bay always gives Valpo a hell of a game I think they could be in trouble if Mays remains out. If he plays I think the Phoenix could also be a nice live dog.
In the MAC, I really think Toledo could be a nice situational play tonight. The Zips are off a hell of a hard fought win over their arch rival. I attended the game and if not for an amzing performance from Treadwell they would have went down. As I'm sure you know, Toledo is banned from any post season play for not making grades so beating Akron would make their season. They may have some more value on the first half line because Akron often stumbles from the gate and Toledo lacks depth.
On the surface, the EMU/WMU line looks high but the Broncos are playing better and the Eagles suffer away from home.
I am almost over the Detroit collapse against Valpo. After I put the gun down I exercised a deep breathing program and cleared my head for about a week. I believe that I will come back and begin posting again. I have not lost a hoops season for quite some time so this year has been a really rude awaking for me. Still time to turn it around though if I can keep the ship from going down.
Good luck tonight sir
