For Thursday:

A&M +270 (vs. LSU) for 1/2 unit - same theory as last week as LSU is keeping the rotation of their normal #3 guy (who is still a decent pitcher) starting off the series. Not many chances to upset such a talented squad like the Tigers, but situations like this are worth a small shot. A&M's starter Daniel Mengden is putting together a pretty solid season. He has an ERA just over 2.00, a sub 1.00 WHIP, almost a K per inning and OBA less than .200. He should give A&M a chance if their bats can plate 3 or 4 runs.

1-0 yesterday as A&M edges LSU 2-1. For Friday:

Rice -190 (vs. Memphis) for 1 unit
UNC (@GaTech) and UCLA (vs. Zona) risking 1 unit for 1.45 units

Terrible night as only UCLA won making me 0-2 on my plays. Starting off Saturday with:

Oklahoma -180 (vs. Okie St.) for 2.5 units

Good bounce back day going 2-0 as FSU cruises and MS State has a big come from behind win.

FSU +105 (@ NC St) for 2 units - Wolfpack pitching falls off severely after their ace Rodon. FSU has three solid, though not great, weekend pitchers and will hold the distinct edge in pitching tonight.

Glenn pitching is the only time I foresee playing against LSU. And he isn't bad, but its about the only time the other team has a legit shot. Nola and Eades have been outstanding and a big reason why LSU is in the position that they are.

Tough figuring out who should be the favorite for the title as post season play is close. LSU and Vandy will be neck and neck for the top billing with UNC and Fullerton shortly behind them.

Outside of those four I don't think anyone else has locked up a national seed. I'm guessing the winner of the Oregon/Oregon State series next weekend will get one of the top 8 slots though. UCLA should be able to nab one considering their manageable schedule down the stretch.

Btw, Nola will not pitch this weekend vs ole miss. With sec west in hand, and with vandy having clinched SEC, maneiri will rest Nola, who threw 4 consecutive complete games in April and early may. His next start will be sec tournament round 1.

I must say that maneiri annoyed me wi his overuse of Nola.

I would've preferred that Nola would have been yanked after 7 or 8 a couple of times in that 4 start streak, and that he threw 2 or three innings vs ole miss. Seems to me that 12 days off can easily work to throw him off his game.

Thanks for the info, could be a decent dog play on Ole Miss one or two games then.

Nola has averaged over 7 IP per start which is crazy. They have a solid pen that is deep, as you said no reason not to shave some innings here and there off his arm usage.

No doubt. I'll back Wahl for sure unless he is pitted against Eades. Seems Rhp aces have had most success vs LSU lineup. This should be a good series to cap the reg season.
