YTD Record: 84-85 for -13.55 units

starting off with:

Ville -10 for 4 units - biggest play of the year. DePaul has shown in recent outings that defense isn't anywhere on their agenda. Their transition D is terrible and they act like it's a pick-up game at a play ground or an NBA all-star game. Louisville fans also love when they play in Chicago on a weekend. They will bring as many as 10 charter buses up with fans and turn the empty arena DePaul plays into a home court north.

Was looking at this game as DePaul seems to have packed it in for the year and Lousville seems to be playing well. Also, isn't this a homecoming for Blackshear? Only concern is double digits on the road can be difficult...

DD - it is true about Blackshear, there will be plenty of people in the stands to cheer him on. You can call this one Yum Center North today if you want.

adding:

UConn -3.5 for 1 unit - Huskies, despite their recent losing streak, still have quite a bit of talent. I see a big edge for UConn inside w/ Gardner of Marquette still out.

Illini -2.5 for 2 units - 2 coaches that are on the hot seat and 2 teams that people say have already packed it in. Weber has been in the news for his public break down as he knows he is oh so close to the firing line. Sadler is much the same way. Only difference is that Illini is the far more talented team. With Nebraska fans giving up and moving on to thinking about baseball season and spring football practice, the Iliini can come in and get a W in front of a sparse crowd.

Agree completely on Illinois. Nebraska is not good and don't seem to give a shit. That doesn't seem like a good combination.

Good luck to today.

A pitiful 0-3 on the day. That may be enough to pack it in for the season.

Updated Record: 84-88 for -21.25 units
