YTD Record: 34-43 for -16.4 units

3-2 last night but a losing effort as the bigger Stanford lost by a 1/2 point. Overall had 5 games last week decided by 3.5 points that cost me almost 8 units. Ok, end ageecee rant. On to today's crap being thrown against the wall:

Ville -11.5 1H for 1 unit
Wright St. +18 for 1 unit
IL-Chicago -3.5 for 2 units
Mizzou -1.5 for 3 units

That Stanford bet was a brutally bad beat. I'm not sure if you watched the game, but Stanford had a run out and could have ended it with an exclamation point when Northwestern failed to properly cover the inbounds play with 2.9 seconds left. Instead the kid just dribbled out the clock. Not to mention the fact that Standford blew an 18 point lead or that they were covering for probably 95% of the game.

Oh I saw it, blowing the lead was huge. Truth be told they almost cost me the 1H bet I had on them by a 1/2 until they hit a shot near the buzzer.

I was actually hoping for the line being another point or so higher, but still liked it. You are correct and that Akron could potentially really throttle them. I do like this many points in a rivalry game and the dog has played well in this series in recent years.

Nice day yesterday, Mr. Poon. That Akron line looked high to me as well, but I still haven't decided if I will pull the trigger yet. Good luck.

adding:

Ole Miss -8 for 1unit - outside my normal conferences, which typically means trouble. However, I think Ole Miss is much more ready for the second game in 2 days and will run away with this one.
