YTD Record: 23-18 for +5.0 units
In a rush so don?t have time for detailed write-ups but this is what I?m playing:
Marshall -7 for 5 units ? everyone knows that UAB has been bad, but they have been especially horrid on the road. Their D has been pourous especially the rush D which sets up well for Marshall. Herd?s RB Darius Marshall did injure his knee in practice on Thursday, but early indications are that he will be fine and play on Saturday.
Western Michigan -5 for 5 units ? good bounce back spot for the Broncs against a very weak Buffalo squad.
LSU -7.5 for 5 units ? Tigers with extra week off to prepare for what appears to be a sliding Auburn squad. At night doesn?t hurt either. LSU?s offense will look to get going against an Auburn D that has given up plenty of yards, especially on the ground in recent weeks. Just what the Tigers need on offense, able to keep pounding it at Auburn and come away with a two score win.
West Viriginia -7.5 for 4 units ? tough one to cap due to the emotions on the UConn squad with the death of Jasper Howard. Hard to know how that team will react, but I had to look at it and not consider those factors to try to figure out if it was a play or not. WVU had repeatedly owned UConn and Pitt two weeks ago exposed the UConn rush D. Another question mark in the game is the QB for WVU. Even if it is Gino Smith, the Mountaineers will be running all over UConn in my mind.
Notre Dame/BC Under 55.5 for 3 units ? should be a sloppy game due to the weather and BC will want to keep it on the ground and the clock running to give themselves a chance.
Idaho +15.5 for 2 units ? on the Vandals again. Nevada has bounced back nicely from their bad start. However, Idaho keeps proving they are legit and catching this many points, even if on the road, is pretty nice in a game they should be able to compete in.
Idaho/Nevada Under 67 for 3 units ? Yeah there will be some points, but there should be enough D and emphasis on the running game by both squads to keep it Under this number.
