FCS Games:

Austin Peay +8 over Gardner-Webb
--This should be a physical, close game. AP has played a tough schedule and been respectable. Last year this was a close one and I expect the same this year. I'll take the home team getting more than a TD. Let's go Peay!

Monmouth +6 over Coastal Carolina
--I'm not sure whose testicles were more swollen; mine after the last two weeks' of picks or the Chanticleers after giving up 66 to PSU. Monmouth has covered the last two weeks and should be able to that again at home this week. Their new coach has them competing and there are several winnable games coming up.

Villanova -11 over Lehigh--Too much offense for Lehigh to keep up. Nova had 400 yards versus WVU and has had two weeks to prepare.

E. Illinois -28 over Indiana St.--I normally hesitate to lay this kind of chalk but Indiana State is horrible. EIU beat them badly last year and is better this year. I had this one lined at 38.

FBS Games:

Ohio St./USC under 44.5--With Beanie hurting, I think Tressel will really try to slow this game down. Both defenses are strong and neither quarterback is outstanding.

Michigan/Notre Dame under 37.5--This total is creeping up and I'm not sure why. Michigan's offense is awful and their defense should keep ND in check.

Buffalo -6 over Temple--See Spang and Spackler's comments.

Arkansas St. -2.5 over So. Miss and under 52--Arkansas St. is going to be a factor in the Sun Belt. They have a very good running back in Reggie Arnold and Corey Leonard is playing much smarter this year. More importantly, their defense appears to be stronger than in the past. So. Miss scored 52 against ULL in their first week but only managed 13 against Auburn. I think they will continue to stuggle on offense against solid defensive teams.
