Will CBB players now skip the tournement? What's in it for them to play ? If your guaranteed to be a top draft choice why play? NCAA best figure this problem out ASAP

Pay em - I like that the kids are doing this. Fuck these people making millions off them. And fuck us for gambling on them to be honest - but I dont blame the kids - they are 100% to the nth degree exploited. And if you think that getting a free college education equals what the school gets from it's top 2% of athletes - then you've never played college sports.

I understand that football and basketball pay for everything else - but the NCAA is a sham exploiting free labor for the "good of the school" - give me a break. If they want to do something right - dont pay college coaches millions of dollars, set up a trsut fund for kids and players after they graduate and let the kids do what they want - let's not pretend they are there for school - they aren't. I played baseball at a high end college - BASEBALL - and we weren't expected or encouraged to be students on any level - the basketball and football guys I knew couldn't ever get a job other than sales for the rest of their lives and were fundamentally flawed in math and english - and had no intention of engaging with higher education on any level. Nor were they asked to - we got tests in advance, private tutors, and sit ins for class all the time. I would say in my 4 years at school i took maybe 5 real classes and that's only because I knew i wasn't going to be a mlber - I had to spend my senior catching up because I knew it was time.

bottom line - the schools mill these kids through their programs because they know how much money they are worth - they won't ever own up to it - and theyll always say that it's for the good of the kids --- but man... it's not. It's about the money... and if that's the case --- pay em and figure it out.

I'm sure no one is going to sit out of the playoff games in college football nor will they sit out of the hoops tournament because there is still a chance to win a national championship
