Okay, lemme start out with my condemnation of all things Nike.
In Greek mythology, Nike is the goddess of victory. But these uniforms of the last few years have been nothin but losers.
Miami Florida has served as testing ground for some of their outlandish uniform designs. The 'Canes' designs have gone on to be adopted by many other schools , resulting in the "Villagization" - as in Village People - of college football.
It took the cake when last Friday two teams - Arizona and Utah - sported Miami's lastest bastardization, the bra and thong look...minus the thong (good choice).
BTW, what is up with Hawaii's garter belt on their pants...can we say...cross-dressing? Who is Nike's chief designer - the guys from Queer Eye.
I am not a traditionalist but is it too much to ask for a clean, uncluttered look.
