Lost 1.50 units last week in college. Won 1.50 units in the nfl last week. I went 1-0-1 in my best bets last week. I am now winning 68% of my best bets, so I am very happy with that. Been a while since I have had a year like this in my best bets. Other plays not so great.
Fairly small card in the colleges this week. I guess it is the final week until the bowl games start. I hate to see it end. I usually don?t do that well in the bowl games, but maybe this year will be different..
I hope I am not jinxing myself, and not forcing plays, but I would love to go 2-0 in my best bets and finish the regular season at 19-8, which would put my at 70%. I know I have never done that. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
I love these weekday night college football games. I might not win on them all the time, but I sure like playing them.
Thursday Night
Ohio +3 vs C Michigan (regular play)???..This game is a pretty good offense vs a pretty good defense. Defense is what wins championships, so I am going with the better defense and the points.
Friday Night
Houston -4.5 vs S Mississippi (regular play)
Should be another pretty even game, but I feel like the difference will be that it is played in Houston. Houston has a high powered offense and I think they will outscore S Miss in this one.
Rutgers +10 vs West Virginia (best bet)???..This team continues to get no respect at all. This line has been driven up to ten points and I am all over it. I don?t care what anybody says, the big east is over rated and neither WVS, Louisville or Rutgers is ten points better than the other. West Virginia is probably the best of the three teams, but I have to take the team with maybe a chip on its shoulder and this many points.
UCLA +13 vs USC (best bet)????..I am not afraid to go against the Trojans. They have played their share of close games this year and they looked pretty good last week beating Notre Dame. Trust me?.Notre Dame was and is over rated. Anything can happen in a USC/UCLA game. Everybody is expecting SC to win and play for the national championship, all the pressure is on them. I think they will get the win, but I think they are also going to get a pretty good scare this week as well. I can see a 7-10 point win for the Trojans. Give me the 13.
Wake Forest +2.5 vs Georgia Tech (strong play)???..I think I will stick with another team that is getting no respect. Georgia Tech is probably the better team, but they also seem to underachieve many times as well. Just a strong gut feeling on this one.
Florida -2.5 vs Arkansas (strong play)????If this game were in Arkansas, I would probably take them, but it is on a neutral field. Florida has played very well vs Arkansas in recent years and I think it continues this weekend. This should be a great game, but I see Florida?s defense as the difference in this one. Florida will find a way to win this one by at least a field goal.

Nebraska +3.5 vs Okahoma??..I have been betting against the sooners waiting for them to lose, I am not going to stop now.
Oregon St +8 vs Hawaii???..Hawaii proved they are not invincible last week vs Purdue. Oregon St is capable of winning this outright.
La Tech +12 vs New Mexico State???.Two really bad teams. How could either one be favored by this many? I will try it.
This is it for the regular season in college football. I don?t do as well in the bowl games for some reason, so this is your last chance to jump on board, at least my best bets anyway.
