what can i say? I SUCKED IN WEEK ONE. my best bet could not have been more right, but just about everything else could not have been more wrong. that is ok though, still getting a feel for everything. i will get it back.

opinion games (2-1) not keeping unit record, just for the heck of it.


troy state +10.5 over missouri (regular play)..................i know missour is from the stronger conference and they are at home, but this is too many points. troy state won at marshall last week. even tough marshall might not have the teams of past years, it is still a nice win on the road. troy state has played big name teams before and has done ok. they will not be intimidated, escpecially at home. i can see them winning this game outright. i might even come back later on with a moneyline play as well. troy state just about has their team back from last year. almost made this a top play.

oregon state +7.5 over boise state (top play).................it is hard to overlook what oregon state did last week. oregon state was one of my few winners from last week, at least they were my best bet. if they can go into lsu and play that kind of game, they can certainly go to boise and give them a battle and maybe even win. boise, despite last weeks blowout of idaho only has 9 starters back and that does not include their QB. should be another tight one for oregon state.

taking a pass on the florida state/miami florida game............that is anybodies game. great one to watch, not bet on.

here we go with saturday's picks.......will update record later...........nice win with troy state on thursday and waiting for oregon state tonight.


penn state -3 over boston college (BEST BET).........i may have been wrong about penn state this year. they played a pretty good game against akron. they held a pretty decent akron QB in check most of the game. their running game looked good. QB mills played like he did a couple of years ago. this might be penn states year to get back at a few teams that took advantage of their down years recently. i may be wrong, but penn state is a team to bet on this year until they prove otherwise. the only thing that scares me is this looks too easy. i'll bite and make it my best bet of the week.

fresno state +13 over kansas state (TOP PLAY).............fresno looked great winning 35-16 at washington, now they go to kansas state. k-state only has 10 starters back from last year and do not have their QB. they struggled last week to beat w. kentucky. fresno has 17 starters back with their QB also. fresno's momemtum should carry into this week. gotta grab the generous 13 points here.

connecticut -14.5 over duke (TOP PLAY)...........should be a blowout. should have grabbed it while it was still at 14. hope that hook does not get me. u conn alot better than people realize. duke is duke. should win by at least three touchdowns.

colorado state +24 over usc (REGULAR PLAY)............i still think usc might be a little over rated. colorado state always a scrappy team that does very well as an underdog. they could get blown out, but my gut says no.

s carolina +8 over georgia (REGULAR PLAY).............s carolina looked very good winnning AT vandy last week. hard to win on the road in the sec. big things expected from georgia this year and that adds alot of pressure. game cocks fired up for this one. they come home with alot of confidence and will take georgia right down to the wire.
