I'm basing my wager on last weeks performance for both teams.
At Wyoming, Csu ran up 509 yards of offense, but the defense was lousy. WYO's QB Bramlett stung the Csu secondary for 337 yards.
Vs Unlv, New Mexico had 578 yards of offense, but six turnovers (not apple filled) and nine penalties neutralized the offensive effort.
I think the defenses tighten up in this contest, but not enough to make the total a play.
Offensively, the Lobos heavily rely on RB DonTrell Moore. QB Casey Kelly is primarily a pocket passer but I think the Rams already have both Moore and Kelly in their crosshairs.
Csu's Van Pelt (who looks like me) is a pesky bugger and he may make the difference. At WYO, he picked up 140 yards on 20 rushing attempts. I don't expect him to be that productive tonight, but I do expect some "take charge heroics".
Tease:
Under 63
Csu +5
