This is my 37th year working on the Caddie Committee. I'm the arrive at 4:30 everyday guy. I organize the name plates by tee time. I then build the bibs. We have five sizes and need to know which side they are going off and what color bib they need to wear based on pairing sheet. It is a science. I build and now have young ones deliver. The club is still going through changes so everything is jacked. They relocated our tent and now all I see is the back of stands. They are taking all the fun out of it me.
Today is a junior ProAm. They were hurting for pros so we had celebrity pros. Michael Finley, Ian Kinser, Demarcus Ware and George Dunham (The Ticket) were just a few.
I'm off Tuesday and will be taking Wednesday as well. BIG ProAm, 2 shifts, AM's get their own bib. Have to switch Pro out every 9 holes. Its the hardest day for us. So I F'it and am taking it. I am just one man but they will feel it. 6:50 is first tee.
Talked to Olin Browne about his victory in the 90's. David Frost and Corey Pavin are also playing, all former Champions. Ask Finley how he hit it on the front, He said everywhere
