Anyone see value with Missouri going under the total 134 tonight?

Three of the four suspended players play lots of minutes for the Buffs. Without them, guard matchup should favor Mizzou. The game line went up, but the total seemed steady. I hate Missouri, because I think they are another Providence so I will not be playing them. But the Under seems like a good bet. Thoughts??

Four Colorado players suspended for tonight's game

BOULDER, Colo. -- Two Colorado starters and two reserves will sit out Tuesday night's game against Missouri after being suspended for one game for violating team rules, coach Ricardo Patton announced Monday.

The Buffs opened as 5 1/2-point underdogs for tonight's road game, but that number skyrocketed to 10 1/2 by late afternoon. The line jump is no surprise when you look at the players who are sitting out.

Chris Copeland, Martane Freeman, Julius Ashby and Marcus Hall will not play against until Saturday against Kansas State at home.

Copeland's 12.6 points per game makes him the second leading scorer on the team. Hall is first in assists with 4.4 per game and third in scoring with 11.9 points per game. Ashby is the team's leading rebounder at 6.1 per game. Freeman has played in 22 games in a reserve role.

"I learned Saturday evening that the four had violated team rules prior to the Texas A&M game (Saturday afternoon)," Patton said in a statement. Colorado lost to Texas A&M 92-77 despite being favored by three points.

Patton said the four violated the same internal team rule and no outside agencies were involved. He did not elaborate. However, one report from Tuesday's edition of the Rocky Mountain News said the four players were "believed to have missed curfew Friday night", the night before the loss to A&M.

The report went on to say that a source close to the school said the players were partying at Boulder until 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

Colorado look sluggish in the loss to A&M and trailed by 15 points at halftime. The lack of effort helped the Aggies snap a 20-game road losing streak in conference play.

The Buffaloes are now 13-11 on the season will almost certainly miss the NCAA Tournament. They need a record of at least .500 to qualify for the NIT.
