NEW MEXICO +1 - I feel that the key to this contest is that besides an outstanding Washington State team, no one else has been able to run the ball well on the New Mexico defense. The Lobos are allowing a miniscule 74.9 rushing yards per game, amazingly holding their opponents to just 2.4 yards per carry! Colorado State likes to employ a balanced offense, but if they can not get on track on the ground, it will make their passing game easier to defend. Both of these teams are coming off of upset losses, although I feel that the Rams loss at Wyoming was a worse defeat than the Lobos losing to a UNLV team that has some talent. Colorado State had aspirations of winning the conference, but that loss may have been a knock-out punch, and one has to wonder how they will respond now that they may be only playing for pride. Sure, Colorado State has won the last 5 head-to-head meetings, but I think that will only serve to motivate New Mexico, and now that the talent level between these clubs is much closer than past years, I look for the Lobos to get their revenge.

Nice write-up and I agree with your pick. I am betting a good size wager on it.

New Mexico has a great offense and should put up a ton of points tonight. As long as New Mexico does not turn the ball over (which they did a lot against UNLV) look for them to get a solid win. New Mexico has faced better defense than CSU this year (and were productive), so I am confident New Mexico will be able to move the ball. Turnovers will decide the fate of New Mexico tonight.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice write up. I agree. I love the home team on prime time. Played NM St and ARK last night. I am leaning towards the over with the good run defense. I think CLRD ST will be forced to pass a lot.
