Let me guess Scott's response:

"True, most have Colvin as a 5 star. But my personal rankings demonstrate that he in fact isnt much of a player. While I did in fact once want Colvin, I conducted a reevaluation and determined that USC is better off without him. Fight On !"

Colvin is an elite player and Oregon got a great WR, beating out USC and Michigan for his services. USC did want Colvin, but Colvin looked at USC recruiting class and did not come. Can you blame him?

USC WR class is just sick.

5-star Davis (6.4)
4-star Jarrett (should be 5-star and is 6.5 with speed)
4-star Jones (one of fastest players in the nation)
3-star Stuart (tall WR/DE)

Last year USC recruited....
5-star Lewis (#1 WR and player in nation)
5-star Smith (#2 WR in CA and top 10 WR in nation)

Thats some serious young talent at WR. USC is set for years.

USC coaching staff ranked their top 4 WR targets they were after and who they thought was best in the nation and they were....

Jarret, Davis, Colvin, and Jones in that order. 3/4 is more than I hoped for. Truly amazing.

I think if Jarrett did not come to USC, Colvin would be a Trojan. Congrats to the Ducks, Colvin just might be their biggest recruit in school history.
