anyone know if this was worst rushing game in league history (im sure not), but im guessing at least last decade ...

sd 20 rushes for 21 yds

philly 14 rushes for 25 yds

a total of 46 for both teams is awfully meager ... would love to hear how it stacked up if anyone knows a site or heard .. Im a curious stat guy ;)

i gave up on amazing stats after i watched arizona lose to utah in the freedom bowl in 1994 (ish) after giving up about 80 yards and 5 first downs......for the game.

I remember a Detroit game last year at home, that they won and had something like 5 yards rushing for the game!!!

I'll try to look it up....

2 years ago...time flies when you're having fun, huh?

Det 12-10 Chicago....Detroit (not counting 2 knees)...11 rushes-19 yards...and 9 of those were on an end-around!

Chicago got 66 for the game tho, so all up not that low.

Although, funny to see....S. Bryson 10 rushes 8 yards...longest 6!! He's other 9 were pretty ordinary!

Got this from NFL.COM ---

Fewest Yards Gained Rushing, Both Teams, Game
-15 Detroit (-53) vs. Chi. Cardinals (38), Oct. 17, 1943
4 Detroit (-10) vs. Chi. Cardinals (14), Sept. 15, 1940
62 L.A. Rams (15) vs. San Francisco (47), Dec. 6, 1964

Looks like the Philly-SD game gets 3rd place - but easily the fewest in the last 60 years.

Did they count sacks as negative rushing yards back in the day? How in the hell could a team get -53 otherwise? ...Figures, it was the Lions. :mj07:
