ah, nothing screams 'championship level football' like the BBVA Compass Bowl on january 8.
pitt (-4) 2 units. all the distractions around the program.... sec vs big east.... and line line is rising? while i hate betting against a back-up qb, this is a big advantage for pitt. UK is going from a passer to a runner, and the primary weakness for pitt's defense is defending the pass. UK was not good against the run all year. i have said this a few times this bowl season, but as long as pitt commits to the ground game, they should win this game.
oh, and as far as the pitt coaching situation, going from wannstache to just about anybody is at the very least a lateral move.
