Computer help..please

I did this before but forgot.
How do I clear the address http from showing up after you go to a site.

Tools-Internet options-delete cookies....delete files
then go back to options...
go to content...hit auto complete ..clear forms..

But that doesn't do anything with the address

Anybody know..need help

I'm not very computer literate but this may "jar" some info in someone



may want to do both

make sure you have all of your passwords and usernames written down

this will clear ALL of your cookies

I do this twice a week....you may want to go to the 2nd step 1st

1st
(for me) left click on start box
left click on run
type in cleanmgr and run
check box for temporary files and temporary internet files

2nd
right click on start box
left click on explore
go to "temp"
delete all cookies or the ones you wish

go to "temp internet files"
delete all cookies or the ones you wish

I don't think anyone can easily find the cookies later if they are looking

you have to clear your recycle bin also

next time you want to go to your favorite porn site Box just go to Google.com first and type in the web address. that way it won't show up on the addy bar.

Lester,LOL,LOL and LOL.....damn.... My friend is the one with the problem.His wife went away too and his addy had some sites his wife wouldn't appreciate.
This is my friend.He just called and said it all went away with my instructions that I got from you guys here.He thanks you very much.
And F.Monk,your right about Googles.I just hit Pope Johns Vatican site and it didn't show up on the addy.Being a former alter boy that still knows his latin I like late at nite to visit sites in Rome.And not Sophia Loren....Intense O...my friend thanks you too.
