Computer help.....please

[Box and one]

After about 10 minuts on my computer I get a computer error box across my screen.
It says IGNORE or Close in a greybox.I hit ignore but nothing happens
I have to hit close.Then I get a smaller greybox and its says
Explore.. must close.I hit that and my computer turns off.
Does anyone know what it is.I scanned for virus's and it says everything is ok.
My computer also has slowed down.
Any suggestions are appreciated..

Box and one, I will tell you what I did the other night and it was the best $35 I have spent in a while.

I could not even log onto the internet or get my emails so I called me ISP and they went through everything and determined I had an issue they couldn't solve so they gave me the phone number to the Microsoft tech support. I was on the phone 2 hours and 10 minutes with some guy and he went throught everything and solved not only the problem I was having with getting on the internet, but got rid of all of the BS spyware programs that my Spyware program didn't remove and now I have no more pop up problems like I had before. They have a list of everything (spyware) out there and whether it is good or bad for your computer.

The phone number is 1-800-936-5700 if you are interested and there was very little waiting on hold. While I was waiting for my computer to reboot, I asked him where he was from as he had some type of accent, and he said India. He said there are 12,000 people working in tech support where he works and by the end of 2005, there will be over 20,000. How is that for out-sourcing.
