Computer trouble

Hey guys,


I was leaving to go to Detroit early last week and had my laptop in my bag and the bag handle broke and my laptop hit the pavement and well my AC Adapter won't friggin work... Its a dell but i bought it from ebay about a year and a half ago... i dont think its under warantty. Does anyone have any suggestions, i have no way of powering the battery so i am using this old pieace of crapper at a friends house.... I need me laptop

P.S. When I plug in the ac adapter the light comes up on the little part of the adapter so the power is going through it but the computer isnt picking it up

Call up Dell Computer and tell them your situation I am sure they would be willing to help you out even though it may cost you a bit.

thanks for the help kneifl i have a dell computer and i drop it kneifl replies call dell they will replace it.no kneifl i think he should have called bill gates at microsoft and ask him if he can fix my dell computer.jesus christ do you have to comment on everything you must be einstien i have never heard you say i dont know.you must be jacks brother i cant believe he doesnt stop you from talking about every subject that comes up.

$39.00 isn't too much to try and salvage your computer. Dell support is usually top-notch. I looked, but there were no FAQs on the power adaptors. GL
