Vanished into vortex
Can someone tell me what the following are and how damaging they are as well as hot to get rid of them if need be:

Trojan.Tofger.15000
Trojan.PWS.LDPinch
Trojan.Proxy.32920
Trojan.Proxy.20216
Trojan.KillApp.30208

These (and more I am sure) are on my desktop. I NEVER open and e-mail attatchment so my wife has some explaining to do, but in the mean time what should I do about all this garbage.
Thanks

What antivirus product are you running? It doesn't look like you are running Norton. Whatever the product is, search on their website for those viruses.

Scotty, this is on my destop which gets used for no such thing ( again I'll question the wife). Not sure if this will be easy to clean as there is a bunch of it, may just be easier to get a new hard drive.

Stuman, It is Norton, which bothers me all the more. I'll look on their website, but I think I only have the wife to blame for this mess, she gets tons of stuff from her friends as attachments and usually they are safe, but now and then she says "I opened this one, but it was blank" without scanning it first so I am sure thats where this junk came from, like I said earlier, there is a laundry list of it on that desktop and it may be easier to replace the hard drive than clean all this stuff.

Make sure yah run spybot AND adaware before you do this to see if it grabs them first for you.
