ACC- this year they add Miami FL and Virginia Tech; Boston Coll in '05.

Big East - add UConn; Louisville, Cincinnati, and USF in '05.

CUSA - 2005: add Rice, Tulsa, UTEP, SMU, Marshall and UCF; lose Army to independent status.

MWC - 2005: add TCU

SBC - add Troy St., as well as FL Atlantic and FL Intl., provisional IA members till '06 and ineligible for conf. title.

WAC - 2005: add Utah St. , New Mexico St., and Idaho.

The ACC went from a predominantly "weak" conference the last 15 years to now a strong conference. I was all for addiing teams to the ACC. FSU had it too easy the last 15 years. Not sure how the futures look for V-Tech or Boston College?

All the major Florida schools should be in the SEC in my opinion. It would be the strongest conference in football hands down! I doubt we will ever see it though as the conferences have alot to gain with BCS bids, especially a BCS Title game bid & having all those schools in one conference would be a disaster in that regards.

If all the Florida schools were in the SEC, I agree without a doubt the SEC would be the superior conference.

RIght now I don't think there really is a superior conference in college football. Every conference has their positives and negatives and all the conferences have a different style of doing things. Makes it very hard to compare.

I think the ACC might have a chance to take the step into being the superior conference but it will depend on the sucdess of the bottom half of the conference. I thought ACC was the #1 conference last year.

The conference would have the greatest tv presence in terms of football. I'm sure the players would agree to such a super conference but the powers that be would probably weasel out of it.

Florida should play Miami every year. My two teams head to head every year would be great. Last seasons game was amazing!

Is USC your 3rd favorite team? ;)

Florida schools for the most part in the 90's just stockpiled on talent. Nobody left FL and they stole recruits from across the country. Times are different now as other national powers are keeping talent in state and taking talent away from FL. Did you know after the 1st year Carroll was hired all the FL schools were worried about him. He recruited star players in FL and 3-4 of them almost went to USC but changed mind and stayed close at home. After that they were all worried and the next season Carroll got Mike Williams and last year Rivers. (although FL prob. could have had williams but your coach blew that one)

Our coach blew something, SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!

The man should do recruiting ONLY! He is a pretty good recruiter but not a good game day coach. I think he would be better if he started off at a lesser school & worked on his craft. The AD screwed up when they hired him.

They need to brink back my boy Spurrier. The SEC misses the comedy he provided!
