yes, yes, i haven't been around lately.

WHY?

i saw peeps get burned last year in these late season or tourney games....

so i decided to lay off alot of the games and only do a few select wagers.

what do i see...?

complete bullshit in some conference tournaments when it comes to favorites.

exhibit a: southern conference

the Virginia Military Keydets which had a record of 3 - 13 in the conference win two fawking games in the conference tournament to make fav bettors pull their hair out. ( i had NO money on those games, luckily.)

exhibit b: sunbelt conference

fawking Florida International Golden Panthers had a 1-13 record in the conference.....they beat New Orleans ( had new orleans on the moneyline....-190), lose 62 - 45...not even FAWKING CLOSE!!!!!

exhibit c:

damned missouri valley conference, the Indiana State Sycamores,
another piss tank team with a 2 - 16 conference record beats my northern iowa team (had N.I on the moneyline -260), and they win 61 - 60....a nice kick to the NUTZ.
THEN they go on to almost upset 15 - 3 conference tops team Creighton.....?????

gimme a break.

I guess you can throw out the regular season with these conference tournaments...

Yes, for you underdog lovers out there it's great. But for handicappers, it's a damned nightmare.

So, what do I do...bet dawgs next season in these tournaments....?

This ain't even close to what you're hoping for, but I just feel like telling a story.

Years ago, when I first started handicapping, I enjoyed following line movement. This chit was simple. I was so cool. Nobody could tell me chit.

I bet a three team parlay with significant line movement in my favor in all three games.

I lost to the number by 97 points.

in some of these conferences, they play home and away with each team--when you have already played them twice and won easily, it is tough to get up for them the third time--also, they are used to playing against you--if they have any coaching at all, they are ready for the third meeting---siu has beaten sms twice-- by 1 point and 5 points---tomorrow the line should be 4 to 6---it will be very difficult for siu tomorrow (although they are very motivated)--creighton just stomped wichita at home on monday--don't you think wichita will have revenge on their minds (wichita beat them by 6 at wichita)-- i feel that conferences that have true home and away series have more upsets in their conference tourneys--i have no actual results however, but it sure seems that way.
