Has everyone read the recent news about Homeland Security confiscating Laptops, I-Pods etc and the problems getting them back , not to mention they have the authority to COPY and SHARE everything on your laptop. ALthough I agree with security the experiences I have had with inconsistencies in application of rules I'm a bit concerned. In all honesty, I think we should send a team to the middle east, train with there security, and utilize their techniques provided we don't "go overboard" and get some true security in airports etc. I just don't feel safe with the job being done at this time...I like many of you fly a lot and airport to airport security is so different it's scary (yes I know there needs to be some difference to throw off true trouble) JMHO
