Haven't played this before but wondered....
early cut off today because of the early games?
and also, is the idea to pick the best value as your choice or the eventual winner regardless of the chalk?
Thanks

I can help with the first part.

When there are early games, there is usually an early cutoff for the consensus. That's for the overall pick though, not your personal record. IF i am here, i check the consensus early. But, if there is no overall pick, i let it go until we have one. That makes the time uncertain, but i would rather have a clear pick rather than pick something that has like 2 votes. Just my opinoin.

Right now, it looks like KC might be the pick, and that still gives me about an hour to see.

Secondly, people want you to pick the best chance at winning, but i think it's agreed we don't like playing huge chalk all the time. I suggested (and others as well) that people pick games they would actually wager money on.

Hope that helps.

Your answer was well-stated, Thisisbad.

I just want to add that there are many of us that won't play games where we have to lay big chalk. My policy is that I won't lay more that -170 under any circumstances. I really have to like a game to lay -150 or more. Therefore, if the consensus pick is a large chalk, I don't use it. The premise is, IMO, to pick the game you think is the best bet on the sheet, taking into account the amount of chalk that has to be laid.

As always, everyone has to do what they have to do. TK, your opinion is certainly welcome. Good luck.
