Relatively new to the Offshores in regards to playing the horses but in the first 2 legs I had very good results betting the matchups. Hit 7 of 9 in the Derby and 2 of 3 in the Preakness. This time however I don't see anything that stands out. Below I listed the matchups, their current odds, and a little thought about each. The oddsmakers seem to like Perfect Drift, not that I can blame them. I just don't know how smart these offshore books are when it comes to horses. Would like to here a few others comments on these matchups.

I prefer Essence in this matchup. Better post better outfit better jock. Alberts only 129 lifetime starts but can't ignore the fact she has had great success with horses 4yo and younger (42.9 winning%). Still if I had to chose..... Essence.
Perfect Drift vs Proud Citizen
Perfect Drift -130
Proud Citizen +100
2 horses I absolutely love. Proud Citizen getting about 5-1 offshore just to win Perfect Drift 7-1 yet odds favor Perfect Drift here. I like Perfect Drift but not at -130 and +100 just isn't good enough. Pass.

I like Perfect Drift a lot better than Sunday Break. A bit more rested but still not thrilled laying 130. If I had to choose Perfect Drift. Good thing I don't.

I like Proud Citizen here. Not sure that I like any of these matchups enough to bet them. Maybe like Essence the best out of all of them due to post positions and the illusion of how well Magic weisner ran, but the lines show no value and most likely will be passing on the matchups this time at least.
