Duke vs. Pitino/Izzo with a possible KY/Duke final

Gonzaga is the right side today, but I can't touch it due to the fact that I believe the NCAA wants UK/Duke Championship. The ratings will be through the roof. We've already seen the refs put Utah's best player out of the game on a BS 3rd foul call to give Duke a little boost. I believe we'll see a few more of those calls today. Tread lightly MJers

I totally get what you are saying....first wisconsin is really good and assuming UK can beat them which idk i think the kyle whiltjer vs UK is an incredible storyline. Correct me if i am wrong but i believe i am right.....no player has ever won a championship at 2 schools and to top it play their old school for it. Wow!

That would make a helluva story if they can't get the ratings with Duke/UK.

Wisconsin's second half last night might be the best half of basketball I've EVER witnessed. They are one of 3 teams in the tourney that I felt could beat us. Notre Dame and Arizona are at home. This will be a good one, just like last year. Hopefully, the wake up call will give us a slight edge. Survive and advance!

Wisc shoots like that and no college team EVER assembled can beat them.....however they won't come close to a half like that ever again.

Duke has played SDST and UTAH.....two inept offenses. Zaga completely opposite. Duke better be ready to score cuz their wont be many scoring droughts for Zaga in this one like Aztecs and Utes. Feel Duke is a little too young this year to advance....maybe next year. Its Zagas turn to be there

I agree with you 100%.:toast:

However this years tourney has had its share of bogus officiating . The Blue Devils get all the whistles to go it's way. I can't imagine things change today. The Zags have a nice shot but I just feel like Cappin Kirk theory is spot on.

...and let's not forget Ky being part of the storyline. Slight advantage with the zebras last night.

Duke shot that good against Bucky in Madison earlier this year when they beat them. I think they shot like 65% for the game. No one would've beat Duke that night.

Certainly fun to watch that 2nd half last night as a Bucky fan.

As far as what would draw the best ratings, as long as Kentucky makes it I honestly don't think it matters who is in the game with them. Having the chance at the undefeated season and a chance to watch them do it or not do it will be the biggest storyline. I mean look at everything you can pair with UK... Zags finally getting over the hump, Pitino and Cardinals taking on UK for Kentucky supremacy, Izzo always being there in March, and obviously the Duke storylines and being such a love 'em/hate 'em program.

I will say there are some great teams left. Hoping for some great games ahead (and a couple more chances to make some $$)
