after looking at the replay....there was no PI what-so-ever. In college you dont have to look back at the ball.....

JMHO -- I was watching the game, and had my money on Miami, so yes I was pissed.

But after I have had a day to cool off, and honestly make a judgement, I have come to this decision. While watching the play live, when I saw it taking place I was like 'oh shit, thats interference' - just from first live view. After replay, it obviously was good defense and not interference. However, these refs watch it live and have to make that split second decision on whether or not to throw the flag. If I was in same situation, while in realtime action (without help of replay) I can easily see myself throwing that flag. In this situation it went against Miami and those who had money on them - but you have to allow room for human error. Refs are not machines and do have to make judgement calls. Yes, after replay that probably wasn't the correct call but I can see why he [ref] thought so from his angle (at back of middle of endzone). If this call didn't cost the game, would anyone still be so shocked at this awful call?

As I said, that is just my opinion. I do understand some may feel the call was absolute horseshit and may still be furious, but just thought I'd add my .02.

Rough game - Lets get 'em back this weekend

Agree totally! Anyway, the pass was low and outside so it would have been an exceptional catch. Even more the reason to make it a "no-call".

Thank You.

The call was "probably" wrong but not as blatant as those Miami supporters would lead you to believe. There have been much worse, probably in that game alone. It's a split decison by a line judge who sees a DB not look back at the pass at all with a hand on the WR. What makes it seem so bad is that it was 4th down and money was on the line. If you had Miami +3, was it a "fixed" call?????

The second PI was irrelevant, 1 yard penalty big deal, already 1st down.
