one hell of a great price for you folks who have been lookin'

I don't belong to Costco [I use Sam's cuz it's close to my acct.'s] but the deal they have a Samsung TV's is really sweet.

Manufacture discount and Costco return policy make these prices a must look at if you are in the market for a new TV to replace that eye-strainer ya been staring at for way to long..

Salesman at each store told me samsung has best picture quality on 60" led screens. Both also told me LED will work better than plasma in a well-lit room

If you have a Frys near you then they have the 6000 version of this tvfor 899.00. I'm not sure what the difference between the two is but I know that's their deal right now.

BE ALERTED..

once you start watching these movies and games on these bigger screens you are going to be spoiled.

this means when your friends invite ya over for a movie or game you are quickly going to ask...

"How big is yours"

think I'm joking....nope

you watch the telecasts on these larger screens and the smaller screens look like an old timey computer screen.

BEWARE ALSO....

once you go 55''.............

you will want to go 70+

LED/LCD= a head on viewing angle with 15 degree 10% loss and up to a 60% loss after that.

Plasma - always the better buy. Unless your living room is on the surface of the sun in a windowless room.

Lol

I love my 50" panasonic plasmas. Price well, too. I take your word over the salesmen anyway. Will look into 60" plasma....

"the bunker"
i always heard that plasma`s burned hotter and didn`t last as long...i know they`re cheaper....

i bought a sony 42" led for the dining room(yes,i have a t.v. in the dining room...it`s my house,i don`t care:lol: )...not a battle that the old lady thinks is worth fighting over...

it was advertized as roughly 3" wide(which isn`t the ultra thin style that they make now)...but when i looked it over at the store,i noticed that it`s only roughly 2.7 inches wide for about 2 inches from the bottom up...the rest is about an inch and a half....very thin....

very happy with sony...they seem to last a very long time(even with constant use)...

Plasma for me all day.

No matter how high the refresh rate and quality of an LCD or LED, I still see image blur on sports, fast moving shows, etc. I wish I didn't but I do.
