:0002 That's Brady and Rodgers money. They can have him, he's no upgrade from Case Keenum in my opinion. No way in hell he should get that kind of money, Washington was smart to cut ties with him.

I think Cousins is better than Keenum, but still not worth that kind of money....

The Case for Keenum

Why Case Keenum makes the most sense to continue as starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings

I will tell you what Cousins can do that Keenum cannot.. Throw a deep ball, see over offensive lineman, and recognize wide open receivers. When I have gone to games the line has to block longer cause Keenum doesnt recognize open receivers. Keenum is Great against a heavy blitz cause blitz pick up.has been great.. Cousins is the better qb, Vikes have been dicking around and playing qb carousel for years. Sign Cousins and be able to move on from that position..Its a lot of money and a gamble but they have it

Broncos signed QB Case Keenum, formerly of the Vikings.

Pro Football Talk reports the deal will be worth between $18 and $20 million a year, considerably less than what Kirk Cousins is expected to command. That could be why Denver decided to go with Keenum before even having Cousins in for a visit, or they may have already been out of the running. Either way, they are moving forward with Keenum, who they were interested in trading for a couple years ago and has a relationship with senior personnel advisor Gary Kubiak from their days together in Houston. This move should not preclude the Broncos from using the No. 5 overall pick on a quarterback.

Jets agreed to terms with QB Teddy Bridgewater, formerly of the Vikings, on a one-year contract.

The Jets also re-signed Josh McCown to a one-year, $10 million deal on Tuesday. McCown has reportedly been informed he'll be the Jets' 2018 starter, but McCown is 38 and is already a known commodity. The Jets will again continue their rebuild this year, so seeing what Bridgewater has after essentially two years away with a knee injury makes more sense. The Jets hold the No. 6 overall pick in April's draft. Bringing back McCown and adding Bridgewater on one-year pacts shouldn't keep them from using that pick on a passer if they view him as a franchise quarterback. Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg are likely both goners.

Broncos in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2019.

The Broncos were in a hurry to get rid of Siemian even though he was easily their second-best quarterback behind Case Keenum and costs only $705,000 this season. In Minnesota, Seimian will provide a formidable backup to Kirk Cousins.
