i said i really hate the nba yesterday and i meant it. people often remark that as you age, things in your past seem to you better than the present. the nba is just like that. growing up in LA, you couldn't help but enjoy basketball in the 80s during the showtime days. i'd imagine the people growing up in detroit, boston, and chicago in the 90s felt the same way. basketball can be an exceptionally (for lack of better word) almost beautiful thing to watch when played properly. the problem is that the current state of the nba is a joke. the players are fools and i wouldn't want my children to end up like any of them. maybe 5% of the nba players have heart. its just a bad product. theres no wonder MJ wants nothing to do with todays league. so do i hate todays nba yes. but is it a moneymaker, yes.
